TOUR MANAGER:

Since very early days, Ian has loved travel, following his mother’s example - way before it was fashionable. This led to cycling, walking and exploring in Europe and to taking the UK - NZ overland trail. Ian has visited more than 60 countries so far.

A PhD in International Education meant working with research students around the world and engaging in all kinds of interesting interactions. International projects to improve teaching standards included work in Syria, Canada, Africa, Bahrain, and an ongoing project in Pakistan, where he has made many visits over a 15-year period. Ian has spent his career leading projects and teams and brings those communication, organisational and management skills to tour managing.
