This walking tour takes you through three of the most iconic national parks in the area: Kakadu, Nitmiluk, and Litchfield.

Your journey begins in Kakadu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is both a cultural and natural treasure. Spanning nearly 20,000 square kilometres, Kakadu is home to an astonishing diversity of wildlife, including saltwater crocodiles, wallabies, and over 280 species of birds. As you walk through the park, you'll explore ancient Aboriginal rock art sites at Ubirr and Nourlangie, some of which date back over 20,000 years. The landscapes here range from rugged escarpments to serene billabongs.

Next, the tour takes you to Nitmiluk National Park, renowned for the majestic Katherine Gorge. Nitmiluk, meaning "cicada place" in the Jawoyn language, features 13 gorges carved by the Katherine River. A walking trail along the rim of the gorge provides panoramic views of the deep sandstone walls and the lush greenery below. You'll also have the chance to take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of Edith Falls, a perfect spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty. The final leg of the tour is Litchfield National Park, famous for its stunning waterfalls and monsoon rainforests.
