12 Nights: Thursday 10 March - Tuesday 22 March 2022
Throughout Tasmania, several enthusiast groups and companies have restored a huge variety of locomotives, rolling stock and trams. Through visits to and in many cases rides on, almost all of these enterprises, you will be introduced to the equipment used and histories of both mainline and industrial railways and the street trams of Hobart and Launceston.
In addition to railway and tramway activities, your tour will include plenty of time to explore the many exhibits at the annual Sheffield Agricultural Steamfest; visits to several art exhibitions including the famous MONA in Hobart; a tour of the infamous Sarah Island and Port Arthur convict settlements; and a cruise up the World Heritage Gordon River.
Please contact Calder & Lawson Tours if you are interested in a single occupancy place.
