Take your time exploring Central Otago in the Spring. Explore Dunedin, the ‘Edinburgh of the South’ and have amazing natural encounters with the flora and fauna of the Otago peninsula. You will spend the weekend in Oamaru which will come alive with the vibrancy of the annual Victorian Fete.

The Otago region has excellent eating and drinking, from cheese rolls to the famous Fleurs Kitchen to beautiful pinot noir. Moving in land, you will see the wide ranges and big skies of the Maniototo plain. Vivid blue skies contrasting rugged country and snow-covered peaks made famous in the Graeme Sydney painting ‘July on the Maniototo’.

This tour will cover the highlights of the region and also visit some out of the way places with chances to meet and interact with the locals.
