Embark on an overland journey from Shanghai to Bangkok, travelling in comfort on China’s impressive high-speed trains.
Explore Shanghai’s futuristic skyline and historic Bund before heading inland to Xi’an to see the Terracotta Army. In Chengdu, enjoy tea in People’s Park and visit the panda research centre.
Continue to Kunming to marvel at the Stone Forest, then relax in Jinghong, a tropical city rich in ethnic culture.
Cross into Laos on the China-Laos Railway to discover Luang Prabang’s golden temples and colonial charm, before visiting Vientiane, the riverside capital. Conclude your adventure aboard an overnight sleeper train to Bangkok, where the journey ends in Thailand’s vibrant capital.
On this tour you will see some of the iconic highlights of China, Laos and Bangkok while also exploring some lesser known places. A highlight will be several high speed train journeys where you will cover large distances in comfort and without taking any internal flights.
