Discover the wild, untouched beauty of New Zealand’s deep south on this expedition cruise aboard the Coral Adventurer. Departing and returning to Bluff, this voyage explores the dramatic landscapes and remote waterways of Fiordland National Park and the unspoiled wilderness of Stewart Island (Rakiura).

Cruise through some of the country’s most iconic fiords—including Milford, Dusky and Doubtful Sounds—where sheer cliffs rise from mirror-like waters, waterfalls cascade from ancient rainforest, and wildlife thrives in secluded inlets. Along the way, keep watch for dolphins, fur seals and rare seabirds as you venture deep into this UNESCO World Heritage-listed region.

A highlight is time ashore on Stewart Island, a place few travellers reach. The expedition-style travel allows for a flexible, up-close experience, with shore landings, scenic cruises, and optional activities such as kayaking or nature walks led by expert guides. Evenings are spent relaxing onboard, enjoying locally inspired cuisine and New Zealand wines while sharing the day’s discoveries with like-minded travellers.
