Our group just returned from a fantastic tour walking in the Red Centre of Australia.. A fabulous week with stunning weather (we didn’t see clouds till day 6); such strikingly different landscape; great local walking guides and a very congenial group of 14 kiwis. We really hit the jackpot in visiting just after the best rains in 70 years. Everything was so much greener than we’d imagined.
Although we are blessed with wonderful walking and tramping in New Zealand it’s great to get to a completely different terrain and the red dirt of Australia didn’t disappoint. Lindsay Cumberpatch took this tour and will be heading back to Australia for another walking tour in Tasmania in March next year. Email us if you are interested in that or perhaps the Red Centre as we will likely run this one again.
